Quadruplets’ Mom Shares Incredible Before And After Pregnancy Photos

A New Jersey mother Lindsay Hay is going viral after sharing amazing photos of her pregnancy journey, showcasing her quadruplet-filled belly side by side with her four little bundles of joy.

Lindsay and her husband Syman, who already had a three-year-old son Carson, had hoped to expand their family. Little did they know that life had planned some obstacles on their journey to second-time parenthood.

After giving birth to her first child four years ago, Lindsay Hay, 28, had suffered from multiple miscarriages.

So, it came as a shock to her and her husband, Syman Hay, when her ultrasound last year revealed that they were having quadruplets.

The couple couldn’t believe their luck. Their wish of having another child finally came true, but they never thought that they would end up being blessed with four more!

Doctors told Lindsay that the reason for her miscarriages was her poor egg quality, so they put her on a hormone drug called Follistim. On cycle 3 of the treatment, she conceived the quadruplets.

Lindsay and Syman were ecstatic, but some of her doctors weren’t as excited as they were about the pregnancy.

As she went through multiple miscarriages before getting pregnant with her quadruplets. Even then, her doctors urged her to consider a selective pregnancy reduction—which she refused.

She said her pregnancy was very difficult. “I’m grateful that I’m a person who genuinely loves pregnancy. Otherwise, it would have been a lot harder to cope with. During the first trimester, I was so sick I couldn’t function. With four babies and four placentas, my hormones, fatigue, and nausea were quadrupled. I was extremely anxious and would wait until midnight every night to celebrate making it through another day,” she said.

But Lindsay believed in herself; she chose to keep them all. Then finally, on July 23, 2019, she welcomed her four bundles of joy, Caiden Michael, Madison Grace, Lucas Willam, and Grayson James, into the world!

All four of them needed breathing support when they were born via C-section at 30 weeks and 4 days.

The quadruplets stayed in the NICU for 45 days, which Lindsay described as worry-free and “uneventful” because all of them were “thriving”.

One was of a mirror selfie showing her enormous baby bump during her third trimester of pregnancy, and the other was a snapshot of her holding her quadruplets.

She could barely stand, in the last months of her pregnancy but she’s grateful she’s come this far during her pregnancy. Looking back at her pictures, all she can think of is, “My little body did it?!”

Lindsay’s body underwent a tremendous change because of the pregnancy, and the incredible experience revealed ‘strengths’ that she didn’t even know she could have.

With five wonderful children, we can only imagine the overwhelming amount of joy and energy in the Hay household!

Obviously, Lindsay’s life is a lot more chaotic now! “I rarely get a minute to myself. I’m constantly in motion and have learned how to move quickly and multitask. I sleep less. I worry more. But I will say this: The expression ‘full hands, fuller hearts’ has never resonated with me more. I am so overjoyed with happiness and fulfillment, and every day I wake up wondering how I got so lucky. I have everything I prayed for and more. We are so blessed.”
